How do you wear a rope on your shoulder.? 

Does anyone know?

It has to say "You could wear that on your shoulder" when you >assess rope.

If it does:
>wear rope left shoulder
>wear rope right shoulder

keep in mind some lengths of rope are much shorter than the S-desc might reveal. A cord is only fifteen inches.
