We've noticed someone poking around attempting to hack one of the staff discussion boards recently, and wanted to give players a heads-up. We are not sure whether or not s/he managed to do anything with the GDB, but I would suggest two things:

1) Please make sure your GDB password and game account password are not the same.
2) Change your GDB password and make sure it is a strong, not easily guessed password.

When you first log in, the game should be telling you where you last connected from. If you notice any oddness, please first change your password and then let us know so we can take a look. To do so, please mail mud@armageddon.org or file a request in the request tool.

I apologize for the inconvenience. This is creating a certain amount of work on the staff side of things as well, for what it's worth, and it's a real shame when a few people try to spoil something for everyone.

You can change your GDB password via profile ->account related settings
