Fishing for a web-fish.

You read the title so you know what to do...

I think I'm going to be swang-a-lang-danglin' my ass back into Zalanthas and I need to get the link to that old, sometimes broken website that had all words and synonyms for various parts of the bodies and what not.  Anyone got the link lyin' 'round?

Ahh!

On the other hand, you don't need to go to web archive to view it.

We really should have a link to this somewhere on the main site.

Uh, please don't randomly pick out descriptions. Rather, get something that suits what you want to make. I've seen a few characters IG that have two seemingly random adjectives pasted together and it looks.. weird.

The jaundiced-eyed, spiky-hair half-giant. Ack. Hmm.. perfectly normal PC description, though.

Clans can give stat bonuses and penalties, too. The Byn drop in wisdom is particularly notorious.

We should have a community activity where we revamp the list, add and remove stuff, the publish it publicly to go with mansa's guide. We can make it a whole guide to making a character, since the guide on the web site is outdated (it still says that applications asks for keywords).

Jus' cause I prefer to pick my characters descriptions by throwing darts at my adjective wall don't make me any less o' a man.

Your sdesc is basically how people will see your character, for their rest of their lives. Picking what you want to be perceived as is a good idea.

It does make me hurl when I see that fella way off by the roadside with some funked up word that's a vague reference to a synonym of a latin word translated in spanish and randomized and I have to do a google to see if the guys a short scrawny piece of shit, a muscled brute, scarred and nasty or his sdesc merely references his ponytail.

Ps- everytime I see some ridiculously wierd word in a sdesc.. know that for 5 seconds all I can think about is dropkicking you into a cactus... then it passes.. and all is good again.

A staff member sends you:
"Normally we don't see a <redacted> walk into a room full of <redacted> and start indiscriminately killing."

You send to staff:
"Welcome to Armageddon."
