I'm new to this MUD and I would like to quickly introduce myself. My name is Alice and I study Art and Philosophie. As a part of my Philosophie course we must also learn about virtual worlds and I was told by a friend that this is a good one.

You should type up the assignment and post it, I'd be very curious to see the requirements of the project and the criteria for evaluation.

Some of the things I've learned, which you should take as "Tips."

1.) What are the Byn? There' a bunch of bar-going assholes who start fights all the time.
2.) Who is the dragon? Simply a figment of your imagination.
3.) Where is the toilet? Ask #1.
4.) Which weapon is best? Use your hands, be a (wo)man.
5.) Why are you playing? So you can endlessly screw up on emotes for the first week!


Oh, and don't kill everything you see. Some of it fights back.

Haha, that reminds me of last semester where I wrote my engineering ethics and strategic leadership paper on Dwarf Fortress. I would've taken Armageddon instead if it wasn't for the "engineering" part. Also, the "No IC info" thing doesn't help in doing any research
