Shame (the opposite of bragging)

A magicker of mine casted a little too close to the gates of Red Storm.

Instagib.

I had a warrior in the rinth who was powerful enough to wear cool armor, get attacked by muggers, and flee with relative frequency. He wore the armor for IC reasons, and not for OOC powergaming. He was just offered some serious IC power. Shit was going great. Log in one day to a room with ten NPC's. Mercy happened to be on, and I didn't notice until the first one went down. Got bashed, end of story.

My first breed ever with fantastic stats (about 02-03..not too sure the exact year)

After just a little over 2 hour played, the breed found an awesome sword - a sigma of a sun on the pommel. Tried selling it in Salarri tent in Tuluk and for some reason the merchant was scared of my char. Next thing I know - stepped outside and there are a group of ninja soldiers waiting for me.

Sadly, I had no concept of nosave back then.

I still don't know why on earth they would pk my char for some honest trading.  :P

Running after Carru, catching them, then eating them while they are still breathing is a Red Fang's version of 'fast food'.

My first PC did the same exact thing during his first trip to Tuluk. Luckily, I ran like hell and eventually remembered to turn nosave arrest on (after punching a NPC templar. Whoops!) Got dragged into a cell, scared shitless. My dude fell to his knees and began groveling before the templar PC that came in to see him, just like he learned to in Allanak! I'll never forget the templar saying, disdainfully: "Show some restraint."

I have well over 150 characters. I've killed three of my own characters in one day.
Now you're looking for the secret. But you won't find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.

I once got killed by a vestric. Thats right, a vestric.
Someone says: I imagine the festivities have worn you thin... Well good. I plan on leading patrols over the next month, that would turn even your shriveled manhoods into sturdy poles of destruction.

I had a really fun d-elf with a lot of potential. He was out exploring some areas around his tribe with a very decent climb skill, but failed his check at the top of a 6-room mountaintop and plummeted to the bottom. He somehow survived the fall but didn't survive the hungry pack of beasties at the bottom.

You didn't..try..scrambling for purchase? Hell when you're that high up, look at the price for failure man. Take a chance when you're plummeting half a mile down a cliff face.  ;)

I once got to play a magicker, and somehow got trapped inside my employer's building.  Being the newb I was, I stole a bunch of random items from the apartment and started wearing them, thinking I could leave the building when someone entered.  I quit out inside, waiting for the right moment.

Unfortunately, that right moment passed me by and I entered the game world while one of the occupants was home.  They quickly killed me off.  I later asked to see the notes on my character and it was revealed to me that my male character had been wearing female clothing in the building.  Apparently I was wearing a skirt and high heels, but didn't know it.

...*sigh*.

Oh I did try, but failed each check... I really didn't think I would die, I was wearing climbing gloves, was holding a hook and a rope, and had a high climb skill from my subguild that I had beefed up.

Whoa, wait..holy crap. You fell six rooms, and failed scrambling for purchase multiple times, and when you hit the ground you -still- didn't die? Man..I envy the hp you must've had.  :P

Yeah, that's another thing I missed about him. He had a crazy stat roll. :'(

Sure it can, it was when I was a MAJOR noob, not just a plain noob like now, and I was playing like some indy grebber/woodcrafter guy and I had lust looted all this what seemed to me -SWEET- gear from some dead guy, and so I was as usual, chopping down trees to probably spam craft into chests or whatever nooby things I did, and this Vestric came into the square I was in, after reading its Mdesc.. it seemed to be pretty much a feathered rat, so I figured, heh.. its a rat, how can it challenge my full grown man.................. I figured wrong. Unfortuneatly.. I just couldn't hit the damn thing, but I had to sit and watch the painfully long combat as my character, who had run out of stamina due to my spam chopping, and had exceptional agility, dodge this little critters attacks time and time again, untill slowly... painfully, I was scratched to death. Man that was funny, and i'll never get over seeing it on my account notes, that made me laugh so hard.
****** has been killed by a black vestric, amen.

Responsable for a few NPCs added to the game world.
Backstab is actually the only dialog option an assassin has.

As a rather badass Nilazi, I logged in completely zonked one day, and for some reason I didn't think twice about casting
<blank> in the Red Storm stables.  I guess I forgot where I was.  But oh, those muls went apeshit on me.

Losing three of the most badass characters ever to falling asleep at the keyboard.

Getting stabbed for 80+ hp and then typing "say Try harder"
... I wasn't aware I had special apped Clint Eastwood.
Modern concepts of fair trials and justice are simply nonexistent in Zalanthas. If you are accused, you are guilty until someone important decides you might be useful. It doesn't really matter if you did it or not.

I get ashamed every time I see my notes and the first character has "* died to a pot bellied-gurth, amen" next to it. IT WAS A RAPTOR, I SWEAR IT.

My Rangers get constantly OWNED by vestrics. Do not underestimate the vestric.

Constantly fainting from Way use with a 50 day+ PSI (How is that even possible? Though I did have the worst stat roll EVER).

Constantly fainting from Way use with a leader PC in public situations/in front of peers.

Getting lost around RS with MULTIPLE characters MULTIPLE times.

Generally being in a idiot with my longest lived, favouritist character of all time. A big idiot.

Been there.

Often.

Hilariously.

Reminds me of playing by second and third PCs without prompts, just because i forgot they existed.

Grebber - One who grebs.

Realizing several days later that you probably lost that character because it was at very heavy encumbrance and you didnt drop items anytime during the fight or flight to lighten up.
Its the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fiiiiiine.

A few years ago, I made an account and decided to make a merchant/scavenger in Tuluk. That stats were fucking amazing. I couldn't deal with the learning curve and wound up getting lost in the ruins. I let her die of thirst and didn't come back for 2 years.

Except me. I remember every death. And I am coming for you bastards.

Lost a sorcerer to a vestric.

Lost one of the most ridiculously powerful combat PCs ever (could two-shot carru) to the single most common and curable poison in the game.

Worked a dick joke into an emote once.

Almost put this in the bragging thread.  :-\
