When it crashes it logs your character out right?  Wont just stand there stupidly, and get everything stolen?

Apparently it didn't crash. Also, it is unlikely that you character will get anything stolen, since nobody can connect to the machine except Saikin.

This is a router disconnect, not a crash. So yes, your character is just standing there stupidly linkdead, at best. At worst, Ginka will not realize your character is linkdead, and s/he will starve or dehydrate to death. Or possibly could get eaten by something or someone.
