I am reopening House Nenyuk on a limited basis, and accepting applications for an Agent of the House.

This Agent will be based in the finance division with a focus on diplomatic and business dealings.  This character will not handle rentals to individuals, but will instead handle things like relations with other organizations, deals for new construction, and overseeing general operations.

Unlike most merchant Houses, family members of Nenyuk are not born into a life of glamour and ease. Nearly all family members begin at the bottom of the pile, filing papers (only family members are taught to read Cavilish) for finances or counting through stacks of coins in one of the many bank offices. They are then allowed to earn their way up through the ranks of the House. This means that the Nenyuki are not at all of the spoiled-rich mindset - your average Nenyuki has gruelled with manual labor, stood under the harsh glare of a stern employer, and fought tooth-and-nail for a more respectable position within the House.

Also - all Nenyuki are taught in the House methods of finance. One of the most important tenets of Nenyuki philosophy is an absolute lack of involvement in all things political. The Nenyuk are, largely, a self-sufficient enterprise. They do not push themselves into the affairs of others, and they do not let others aware of their own affairs. Nenyuk does not openly employ assassins or use bribery to gain clout, and all House members are asked to perform their tasks with complete and utter political neutrality and/or discretion. To the common Nenyuki, this is simply common sense. Power, whatever its value, will never be as reliable as money.

What this amounts to are the common traits of a Nenyuki family member. Generally cool, and uninvolved with personal affairs, they are focused on advancement through the House and financial gain. They are a hard-working lot, however, careful not to become so detached with reality due to their wealth that they collapse in on themselves. The mind of a Nenyuki is similar to that of an elf - always on the prowl for the latest score.
