Come back so I can make fun of your again.

:(

Hey, 'slinger, d'you have our Argosy Crawl log somewhere?
The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

What this world needs is a log featuring Gage Gritshaw.
Child, child, if you come to this doomed house, what is to save you?

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

Hey, 'slinger, d'you have our Argosy Crawl log somewhere?

Sorry I just caught this. I'm not sure what Argosy Crawl you're speaking of.

QuoteAt your table, you say in sirihish, to the wild-haired, lanky man:
"Yeh talkin' 'bout m'pantsless Runner? Gage? Gage Gritshaw?"

At your table, rhe wild-haired, lanky man says in sirihish, with a shake of his head:
"Shit, how many pantless people we got runnin' around theese days?"

At your table, you say in sirihish, with a few nods to the wild-haired, lanky man:
"Aye, not refusin' drinks, pantsless'n brawlin' sure sounds like Gage."

At your table, the hale, scarlet-haired woman says in sirihish:
     "Too many huh."

At your table, the vibrant, jade-adorned brunette says in sirihish, raising a hand:
     "I am not wearing pants."

;D

Quote
Squinting at him, the monstrous, peg-legged mul asks the hulking, rip-scarred man, in sirihish:
     "Havn't I seen you before?"

Turning to look towards the monstrous, peg-legged mul, sticking out his bulky chest a bit, the hulking, rip-scarred man says, in northern-accented sirihish:
"If ya' had, ya' would surely remember. I'm Gritshaw...Gage Gritshaw."

QuoteQuickly leaning forwards, obviously unnerved as he puffs out his bulky chest and points towards the short figure in a dusty ankle-length purple djellabah, the hulking, rip-scarred man says, in northern-accented sirihish:
"I'm Gritshaw...Gage Gritshaw...Jus' so ya' know gicker...jus' so ya' know."

I was searching my logs for some Gage Gritshaw bits and instead stumbled over a scene where a PC of mine screamed "UP YOURS!" at somebody and then got yelled at in all caps for being fat.

I don't remember any of this.
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

The one in which our militia PCs, during a party, relieved the Salarr yarrgosy of as much purple spirits as we could carry, you embarrassed Laila sufficiently to be notified of an upcoming beating, and we collapsed in a happy intoxicated pile in the barracks while I attempted to make an alcohol-impaired, tendencious plea for clemency via the Way.

Well, she wasn't wearing pants. Also, Rogue's militia PC constantly deserved a beating. And like Fathi, I hadn't remembered any of this! :)

Ahahahaha, I forgot about this. Nope, don't got it.

I think I need to roll up another Soldier. The shit you tend to and to not get away with is exactly the opposite of what it should be... Until the end that is, then you get exactly what you deserve.

I remember calling you fat on multiple occasions. IG, too.

So it's not just a RL stock insult for ya, is it?  ;)

The secret to great RP is having the balls to be weird and the brains to make it eloquent.

Yeah, Gage kept the Byn creepy.  Seriously.  Whoever played Gage is the best armer ever.  Lots of peeps play gritty, mean or scary.

But Gage was creepy.  It's a much rarer talent.

And kind of creepy.  Who played him?  He was fxing awesome.

Desertman did, I think.
Wynning since October 25, 2008.

I know.

I don't get the Gage fascination that a lot of people have but I must admit, when I think Bynner, I do think Gritshaw.

Can't say he was ever really creepy though.

I'm pretty sure a video clip still exists on somebody's camera describing my birthin' hips:o

I only got to meet Gage once, the day before he died.

He beat the shit out of my PC and we almost got in a poisoned-knives-in-the-Gaj-fight. BEST DUDE.

"It's Gritshaw.  GAGE GRITHSHAW!"

I remember being on some a Kadian Silt Horror hunt under Sharlo.
Weather was horrible so we ended up giving up... for some reason we ended up at the far end of the Silt road.

Gage decides to go off after a black beetle in a horrendous sandstorm (couldn't see from the room the beetle was in, but we could watch from farther north).
Being able to WTF pwn a huge black beetle in blind solo melee combat while wearing only boots and a loincloth = winning Armageddon.

At that point, you haven't even unlocked the "badass warrior" achievement, much less won the game.

You may be right, but he won the game two weeks later.

I was there when Tektolnes laid his sword at Gage's feet, after Gage beat up Chuck Norris.

And keep in mind that many of Gage's fans don't admire the guy because he was so tough, it was because he was so weird.

Not like goth kid weird, more like David Bowie weird.

He's not.  Gage won.  I saw it ding.

Hey, I'm not necessarily disputing the judgment, just the criterion that was used to arrive at it.

I remember a character of mine and Gage getting into a fist fight just outside the gates of Tuluk with a Chosen and others watching.  It was pretty damn funny.
