Kank related items

I've seen a surprising number of things IG that come from kanks. Honey-coated foodstuffs, Kank shell armour... stuff like that. So far I've acted mildly surprised about this IG and not gotten a similar response from anyone else.

I missed the whole kank virus business... so... how are people reacting to things like this? Thoughts?

More than just kanks produce honey, and with every single kank dying in unison, if anything, I could see a glut of kank-shell armor.

Kank-steaks and the like, on the other hand, I'd be wary of.

It's also probably from people killing off all the kanks that have been stored away through the ticket system.

It's only been like five years since the kank plague, BTW.  No reason all kank-shell armor should be gone.

Feel free to bug things in game as you see them.  I've tried to remove all the food stuffs but I'm sure I've missed some.  Armor and such will be disappearing, or no longer being sold brand-new, at any rate.

Armor is going to disappear?  Why?  Did you just mean that it wouldn't commonly be sold anymore?

I was kind of excited that existing kank chitin armor was going to become rare, and perhaps a status symbol of the wealthy... but not wealthy enough to afford metal.

She means that armor will no longer be made new - after a period of time, because the animals that were used to produce it no longer exist. Older armor that has survived will still be in game.

I once made a kank-shell (it said so in the description) shield out of another shell that was not kank. I guess it is time to crank those out baby! Yea!
