SimpleMU question

Alright, so I started using SimpleMU but there's one thing I can't figure out.

Back when I used Gmud, it would display my prompt at the bottom of my screen after every command I would type in.

How can this be made possible with SimpleMU?

These parameters can be mixed with any normal text that you wish. For instance, the command "prompt %hhp> " would produce a prompt such as "14hp> ". You can also use "\n" to skip to a new line.

So enter your prompt as "prompt %blahblah>\n" That should solve your problem, or at least that's how I used to do it.

Just use the prompt command. Here's the one I use ...

prompt -> HP: %h/%H - STA: %v/%V - STU: %t/%T\n\n

If you're a magicker ...

prompt -> HP: %h/%H - MP: %m/%M - STA: %v/%V - STU: %t/%T\n\n

Actually, I don't think Rhyden is talking about the "prompt" per se.  There is a way to get your stats to display at the bottom of the screen all the time.  I have it on mine, but can't remember how I set it.  Honestly I think it might be intrinsic to Arm, because it follows me every time I reinstall SimpleMU.  However, it also doesn't quite work right in SimpleMU.  It keeps making echoes across the screen as it updates.  Not sure.  :?

What about a newline  (\n)  before the prompt...?

Pull down to "Site Properties"
Click the "MUD Prompt" tab
Click the 'Lock prompt at bottom of the screen"

Fiddle with it until it looks good.
