The parts should all be here by Thursday. If everything goes OK, I should be able to get Ginka back on line Saturday evening sometime. I'll be taking advantage of my special "alone time" with Ginka to do some other upgrades, since I don't get a chance like this very often. When the machine comes back to life, it will be faster, and 37% more awesome.

OK, so Saturday would have been the day it was coming back, if UPS had gotten me all the parts on time, which they did not. The last of them arrived late this afternoon.

So, good news is, Ginka is repaired to its pre-power supply failure state. It runs, and I could technically put it back up now, but I'm going to make you all wait in the name of improvements. The hardware we have is circa 2003, and we're upgrading some stuff to 2007, so things will go faster.

Like I said, all that stuff's here, I just have to install it and get the OS reinstalled for Monday.

Sorry again about the delay. Complain to UPS.
