With the advent of the new system, will we be able to take a look at the karma races without having the necessary Karma?

I am not sure if this is possible.

I am speaking of one of us playing a finger wriggler with zero karma.

The answer to that question is not entirely clear.

One of the earliest statements from staff suggested a period of time, at the beginning of Arm.2 when there might be no karma, or class restrictions at all.  Perhaps as a "breaking-in" period.

Discussions from the staff on the GDB since have not made any formal comment on the issue one way or the other since.

Short answer, though: no.

You can try, but you'd have to have a really good reason.

Just do a lot of really good RP and hopefully the Imms will see it and give you Karma.

Of course, you shouldn't RP just to get Karma, it should simply be a side-benefit of your own enjoyment of the game.
