Maybe after a person posts a big link to the voting things should come up?

That way it would be an in your face reminder to vote.

I'm thinking too much of a in-your-face VOTE NOW stuff built into the forums or the mud could turn off as many newbies as voting might help bring in in the first place.

I've left other muds because of their annoying nagging about voting.  I think Armageddon has the perfect balance.  Vote links are accessible and there but you aren't bugged to vote incessantly.
