Off the top of my head i am thinking Gortoks but various other animals could work too.

Basically NPC pets that you can command(stand, rest, maybe few other cool  commands and emote through), except you can't order to attack, if someone attacks you or you attack someone and you have the NPC hitched to you, it will at random times bite you opponent, no differently then the extra attacks by the bracers.

You wouldn't buy them from stores, you'd have to find a specialized PC dealers (House merchant i'm thinking).  Costly aswell 4k+ sid at least.  You are the only one that it will allow to hitch and someone else can kill it with ease if its not hitched to you.

You'd still be able to stable it like a kank but more likely costly for food, water and danger factor. After a certian amount of time it would grow old and die. Most would have quite a bit of stamina but you'd still have to rest them, just like a kank your ridding.
