Strange question about kanks

What is their sex?

Are they like ants? Having a queen who produces the eggs?  Or do they have two different sexs? The females laying a few eggs each, or maybe a whole lot of eggs each, and very few make it.

Just curious if I should be refering to my kank as a him, her, or it?

Almost all the kanks I've ass'd were boy, but if memory serves, once, I did ass a female kank, so they do exist.
