Down with Downtime!

As of tomorrow, April 1st 2006, there will be no more weekly downtime/maintenance on Saturdays.

You can thank Xygax for this innovation; his new code has allowed us to perform the vast majority of updates on the fly.  Praise him mightily.  

We will still be rebooting once a week in order to do backups on Wednesday mornings.  These should result in the game being down 30-60 minutes.

In order for some new code to go in, we will be rebooting at 10am EST and going ahead and running some maintenance backup scripts.  The game will come back up in 20-30 minutes from when it goes down.

The Wednesday Maintenance periods will begin this Wednesday (April 5th, 2006)
