Less non/craftable weapons armor jewelry, clothing, ect

I've never played an end game crafter.  Having said that I believe that the way things currently are, there are a vast number of items that are not craftable but are commonly npc purchased only worn/wielded by players.  I realize that it would be very time consuming to edit and give all
items in the game that were not raw materials a recipe.  However new
items created from this point forward could be required to have recipes.

Anon,

I myself hope that they do take the time to make new items craftable, and, when you find something that is not craftable do you take the time yourself to figure out the craft and send it in? I know there is a template hanging about someplace for that.

If you -want- me to think that your character is a hybrid of a black kryl and a white push-broom shaped like a penis, then you've done a great job

Question:

If I analyze an item, unknowing if it has a recipe, and my character is a newbie, yet I have the skills required to craft that type of item, would it show me that it doesn't have a recipe?  ex:  I am Joenewbieswordcrafter, I analyze sword and it doesn't instantly flash me a recipe, does that mean it's not a craftable item, or does that mean my analyze sucks?

If you receive an empty line, it's non-craftable.

For craftable things that you can't make yet/lack the skill to craft, I believe you receive a message something like "You don't know how this was made." or something similar.
eeling YB, you think:
    "I can't believe I just said that."

Thank you for the quick response.  Being a newbie it is sometimes hard to piece all the information together that does not lie in the helpfiles.  Even though I probably am easily spotted probably as a newbie in game, it doesn't mean that I want to be.  Searching the GDB takes a lot of time and sometimes with limited results :D
