What was the name of that indy clan from long ago?

There was an indy merchant clan from long ago (10+ years) started by a peg-legged dwarf.  The clan had a compound in Tuluk and delt mostly with containers - packs, belts, bags and such.

Who were they?  Who started the whole thing?
