I've been getting these weird messages

It's not broken.

Include it in your rp or ignore it, whatever your character would do in said situation.

If that's not answer enough I recommend you email the mud account or get in touch with a helper

What it means is someone connected to your mind without you noticing, and have just left it. How long were they connected? Why didn't you notice? These are all things to be learnt in-game. There's a few "quirks" or goodies about the psionic code for you to learn and experiment with (even if you're not playing a mindbender). I'd rather not ruin that "oh wow!" experience for you by telling you OOCly. Don't worry, the quirks/goodies are suppose to exist

I remember when I was a newbie, another newbie and myself experimented with finding someone's mind and if distance affected the difficulty in doing so. It was fun, and made for some interesting roleplaying. So don't be afraid to have your character wonder about certain things they've noticed with the way. And no, you may not sue me if experimenting with it leads to you dying
