whered these names come from
like..what the hell is 'zalanthas'?

It just is.

It is a lifestyle.

A religion.

A drug and an obsession, completely independant together.

A harsh desert world.

A way to communicate through the eyes of another.

A way to die and come back to try something new and different.

A place you can be poor, sad, abused, tortured, tied up, robbed, killed, raided and actually enjoy it.

Actually, they'll eat your brainz anyway. It's just what they do.

The real origin of "Zalanthas" is actually much more embarassing. Someone was talking about this great new world they'd discovered, and described it as "The land that's going to eat your brainz!" Unfortunately, the person had a bit of a speech difficulty, so it came out as "Zalanthas gonnierbrainz," which was shortened for simplicity. I'm sure you can understand why.

zalanthas is a bone
zalanthas is a vast planet which evidence suggest was widely explored sometime in the distant past
zalanthas is a brutal environment where only the fittest survive
zalanthas is barbaric
zalanthas is earth rotated 17 degrees
zalanthas is a harsh desert planet where only the absolute fittest survive
zalanthas is a vast desert
zalanthas is their home

That's what I've heard, anyway.
