Sneak and Hide

I've noticed there are classes that have sneak but not hide...

why?
If you gaze for long enough into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

jmordetsky:  Most of those classes mature into additional stealth skills over time.  I expect that is nearly all that will or should be said on this subject, so I'm close to locking this thread....  be gentle if you extend this.
