So, I get my brand new, newbie-rific character.

Three hours later, I'm minding my own business when I'm randomly killed by Magic-Wieldy Man.

Took me off guard, gave me a (very short) run for my life, and there was that tight knot of terror that formed very briefly in my stomach in the climax of action.

To which I say..

YAY!  Thank you, Mystery Murderer Man.

Although sad about the loss of the character, this feeling of excitement was exactly what I was looking for in a roleplaying environment.  

My biggest regret was that I may not have been able to respond with proper emotage quickly or creatively enough to return the favor.
