You join a clan and look over it's history document, and you remember each and every PC mentioned there, from nearly beginning to end.

I just realized I played when two allanaki noble house guard units were -founded-.

Or you look over a document and see a past pc of your's mentioned and you blink a few times to reread it in wonder.  LOL
