A working familiarity with the North is preferred, a general familiarity with Armageddon is expected, and an ability to take constructive criticism is required.  Expect to have half the world out to get you, half the world cowering at your feet, half the world at your beck and call, and half the world wondering how you DO all that stuff, and still look so cool.
