Desert Elves

I've been wondering for about five minutes now this very odd question, I think...

Why when I play a desert elf I have a completely different outlook on the environment than when I play a human hunter type character? It feels just more rugged and solitary when your playing the desert elves for some reason. Can anyone answer that?
ocking a fake scream, the badass scorpion exclaims to you, in
sirihish:
"Ah! Scorpions! I pissed my Wyvern trousers! Ah!"

Probably because desert elves are more likely to actually live in the desert than human rangers.

Not having to rely on a kank, makes you feel like more of a desert-dweller.

You're a racist!
Seriously, though, I think if you see the world differently as an elf, it only goes to show that you've mastered the mentality of the race. I know I've caught myself thinking something along the lines of, "Oh, shit! I'm a half-elf! I should do this!"
Anyways, thinking differently depending on your character's race/culture is, in general, a good thing. So congrats.

You shout, in sirihish:
"I HAVE A BULBOUS SAC"
