I always imagined Dune worms as Dujat, not salt worms....

I also always imagined jozhal to be raptor hatchlings and gurth to be bahamet hatchlings.

It would make so much sense I wonder if I just let out IC info without even knowing it.

I've thought that as well, however in both cases they are neither near the adults to be -hatchlings- nor do the adults seem to be on any migratory breeding script to indicate that they lay their eggs or birth their young in those other locations. And in fact one of those beasts resided in another place as well and is even further from their -parental source- if that were the case. However they could certainly be the off shoots of the genius perhaps.
