And just to prove a point, here's AoD

1.  Ihsahn
2.  Sathis
3.  who needs money when you're in the AoD?
4.  Daejaye
5.  Aquilla (she was scary)
6.  Dora
7.  Kazyn
8.  Boopsie
9.  Kishimie
10. Druell
man
/mæn/

-noun

1.   A biped, ungrateful.

You spelled Kishime wrong. Now we must kill you.

Also,

Quote3.  who needs money when you're in the AoD?
Unlike you northies, down here in 'nak we got us a little thing called bribes. Gimme all yer sid.
QuoteThe shopkeeper says, in sirihish:
"I am closed, come back at dawn."

You say to the shopkeeper, in sirihish:
     "YOU ^*%$*% WORTHLESS SHIT."

You say, in sirihish:
      "Ahem."

I'm glad Boopsie made it on someones list.
Tryin' to make friends but people are jerks,
So I'm gonna put some fleas on you.
And the fleas'll have the plague,
And they'll make you cough a lot,
Then you'll be too sick to hurt my feelings anymore.

Kishime was one of my all-time favorites.

I had a habit of calling him "Turtle" when I had my Atrium PC.  Never to his face or IC.  It was just the first thing that popped into my head when I saw his sdesc.

What's really funny is that #7 even exists as an option on the list.  You would think that if they were a successful spy they'd never be put on the list!

I can't categorize them, but I think all of the following deserve heaping amounts of praise:

Digger
Vedelarin
Pearl
Sujaal
Anath
Thorian
Haaruk
Kishime (sp?)
Light Touch
Daejaye

>necksnap amos

You try and snap the tall, muscular man's neck but fumble and snap your own!

Welcome to Armageddon!  '(mantishead)

Bela should be on a Bynner list.

She kept me playing this game.

Arm is evil.  And I love it.  It's like the softest, cuddliest, happy smelling teddy bear in the world, except it is stuffed with meth needles that inject you everytime

Kadius
1.  An Ultimate Leader
2.  Their Second in Command
3.  The Driving Money Earner
4.  The Ultimate Scheming Bastard/Bitch
5.  The Destroyer
Murk the mul

6.  The Sneak
7.  The Spy
8.  The Hero
9.  The Surprise (this is someone who came from nowhere to do great things)

10.  The Honorable Mention
Milan

The others are too ic to mention still, I think.
<Morgenes> Dunno if it's ever been advertised, but we use Runequest as a lot of our inspiration, and that will be continued in Arm 2
<H&H> I can't take that seriously.
<Morgenes> sorry HnH, can't take what seriously?
<H&H>Oh, I read Runescape. Nevermin

The general rule of thumb is more than a year dead, and I've already learned from this thread that a few people I thought were still alive are recently deceased.
There is no general doctrine which is not capable of eating out our morality if unchecked by the deep-seated habit of direct fellow-feeling with individual fellow-men. -George Eliot

This is a cool thread, and I don't want to lock it or something equally lame, so yeah, what Tisiphone said.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

Tuluk 2004.

And Allanak pretty much for the past...ever.
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.

Tuluk Spring-Summer 2006

Golden Summer. Summer 2006 was the best I've ever seen Tuluk, ever. In fact, Summer 2006 in Tuluk may be the most fun I've had in this game, period. Well, aside from my current.

Big kudos to not only the players of the time, but specifically to Halaster, who I think was responsible for a lot of my character's unlucky escapades.

All I have to say is:

Look at the character portrait thread in the next month or so, and shit your god damned fucking pants.
"You will have useful work: the destruction of evil men. What work could be more useful? This is Beyond; you will find that your work is never done -- So therefore you may never know a life of peace."

~Jack Vance~

The Tuluk list is impossible at the moment, as one of the characters (Ahem, a noble), is currently unstored and ready to play, but the player is unable to commit enough time (Cough cough used to be Tenneshi).

Seriously though.

I love you guys. Wanna shoot up Heroin? cool.

That was a really good time.
Child, child, if you come to this doomed house, what is to save you?

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

I also loved Kadius Winter-Spring 2007..that was when I was there as a player and it ruled.

From what I can see it still is going strong.  Way to go, Shalooonsh!  Just maybe it's not quite as strong and cool... without me there.

Wow, she was THAT pale?
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

Um. Actually, no. The flesh tones were a bit hit and miss, there.

But you get the gist.

Stick around awhile.. because once your in, there's no going back.
