AI-Created Zalanthan Art

Started by James de Monet, October 05, 2022, 01:47:35 AM

I saw a few people posted AI-created art in the Visualizing Zalanthas thread, but I figured it deserved it's own thread.  It's almost too easy to create this stuff, so why not give it a try!  Here' s a few I created using Midjourney (instructions at the bottom if you want to try it yourself!).  I did a bit of photoshopping on them, but not too much:

Salt Flats:

In the Belly of the Worm:

Allanak:

Tuluk:

To try it for yourself (there are other generators, like DALL-E, NightCafe, Stable Diffusion, etc, but Midjourney is what I started with, and I enjoy it):

  • Go to: https://www.midjourney.com
  • Click "Join the Beta"
  • Log in to Discord
  • Click "Continue to Discord"
  • Go to one of the Newbie channels (IE #newbies-30)
  • Type "/imagine" (no quotes) and then whatever prompt you want!  (Think kinda like a Google search: "/imagine large black lizard in a desert, red sky --wallpaper")
  • The bot will respond to your post with four sample images.  Use the "U#" buttons to make one of the samples bigger.  Use the "V#" buttons to make it create more samples similar to that numbered sample.  You can get (about) 25 free generations before you have to subscribe.

Enjoy!

You know I think if James simply retitled his thread "Cheese" and apologized for his first post being off-topic, all problems would be solved.

A drovian and his minion Bob

Bob's a good guy.

Good minion.

Solid guy.

Changed my tires one day.

Gave me an oil change.

Didn't even charge me.

Though... I will say, the limo tints he put on the car...

Better described as blackout tints.

A Kurac logo themed artwork

I can't help but imagine a Farside cartoon where the next frame shows a parent scolding Johnny for dropping his pants and bending over in front of a flashlight.   :D

The three images or manifestation?

EDIT Either way:

Landscapes: A dark set of two moons, sitting high above a red clay desert. A Sprawling village on the boarder of a salt flat and silt sea to the north.

Elkros Manifested: The image of lightning striking in a red sky clay desert. Digital painting. Popular on art station.

Horrors.

Prompt: Something yet more horrible than the last. Insectoid and tentacular.

Zalanthas itself.

Prompt: Zalanthas, the desert planet, with 2 moons, and a red sun

Bynners on Escort

Prompt: The sun casts a pall of red upon the travelling caravan, protected by leather and bone clad mercenaries. Nothing they can do to prevent the end that approaches.
