Important Update: ArmageddonMUD to be down part of Saturday July, 10th 2021.

We wanted to make sure everyone was aware we will be taking the game down for an extended outage on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 7 PM EDT to about 10 PM EDT.

We will be migrating the game to a new server to upgrade many aspects of the platform on which the game runs including PHP Version, OS version, MySQL version, and many, many other ancillary aspects of how the game continues to function.  You shouldn't expect anything to look any different though there may be some performance gains.  The web page and tools will look and behave exactly as they do today.

This is the culmination of a great deal of work and years in the making so thank you to all the staff who helped with this endeavor!

We will be starting the extended downtime at about 7 PM EDT and it should be completed around 10 PM EDT.

We did want to do the update a bit more off prime time but all the technical resources we require weren't available until later Saturday evening.

We've begun the game migration.  We expect to be done by 10pm EST today (July 10th, 2021).

When the migration is complete we will post the new IP address here so players can connect until the DNS updates propagate.

We will post updates here as well as on Discord.

The migration is now complete.  Thank you for all the prompt bug reports that let us fix the worst of it relatively quickly.
