on the "What are your pronouns?" thread
« on: May 15, 2021, 12:55:59 AM »
It looks like the thread where I asked staffers about their pronouns was removed. I don't think that fixed anything. Those of us who read it and were disgusted still remember, and it's archived on the wayback machine as well.,56848.msg1060770.html (although there were some later replies which were not archived)
I don't expect any staff response, the purpose of the GDB for me is to communicate with players, if I want to be sure staff sees something I open a request. The purpose of this thread is simply to publicly say in a more permanent format than some discord channel that I thought the flippantly dismissive and mocking replies to a good faith of using the right pronouns for staffers.

I didn't like those replies, if you also didn't like them feel free to post that you didn't. That's basically what this thread is for.
A staff member sends:
"Hi, we don't need you to tell us EXACTLY what you are doing when you quit OOC.  We just need a vague reason.  Thanks."

It was a great change when Armageddon added a third gender option with neutral pronouns; many games do not have that option at all so Armageddon rocks for that.

But yeah, I'll politely say that the answers in that thread could have been a bit more sincere given that you wanted sincere answers. It's not my place to apologize for this but sorry, lotion and queer fam.
message me if something there needs an update.

You've expressed your concerns and raised a complaint on the request tool and I encourage others to do the same if they feel they'd like to. They will be addressed. But do not use the GDB to intentionally rally angry players into expressing negative sentiments about the game or it's staff members.
