Not to sound rude in any way, I was just wondering the a lotted time period that an application would be read and either accepted or declined.
Its been almost 5 1/2 hours since I submitted my app. and figured I would get a fairly quick response considering it was during a good time of the day, however I have not received any message as of yet.

Typically apps will not go longer than 24 hours before being approved or rejected.  Usually it will get taken care of in less time than 24 hours but usually you shouldn't worry until 24 hours go by.

One thing that might make your wait significantly longer is not exiting out of the character generation process correctly.  Remember after you enter 'U' for submit, you have to enter 'X' to exit.
