Leaving the City

If you are in a city only clan, and yet go out to the outside of the gates for morning devotion, would it be frowned upon to stay within the conceivable shadow of the dragon statue to dig for things, or would that be counted the same as wandering to the edges of the world? Would it come down to how it was roleplayed out? Like stepping just to the edge of the circle to do so?

Well the gates are the gates, if morning devotion is going on and you're grebbing... I would imagine some very unfriendly Templar might take heed of your lack of devotion and say something to you.

None too kindly.

While you're eating roaches.

Err on the side of caution here until you get higher word from staff.

I meant more, like, right after the devotion let out, like you had to leave the gates anyway to get to where the dragon statue is, if you were staying within 1 room of the gate.

Well. If you're in a clan, talk to your superiors about getting an escort, but I don't think anything is forageable in the gate rooms. I've never tried, either.

This is definitely the sort of thing that your IC boss would be better equipped to answer for you than anybody on the forums. Different clans and different leaders would probably feel, well, differently.

Hey, you, get out of here. That's what I said, damnit.
