Do you mean the 1/4 damage taken option for your main character? That's why I quit playing. It's great when you're playing in an unrealistic mode but the second you make your character as vulnerable as everyone else you're knocked off in the initial charge :)

Prophecy of Pendor is a pretty good fantasy-based mod for M&B. Adds a decent amount of stuff to do into the game.

UI insanity. I'm using the next 24 hours to relearn WoW tanking with my warrior since I haven't touched her in a year.

I bought ftl.  I spent a good portion of my day zipping about space.  Only made it to the boss once, but I've unlocked 3 ships and having a blast being blasted into pieces with the stealth cruiser.

No just mostly luck. Eventually you'll get a run where weapons are dropping left and right and you'll just blaze through it.

They dropped the ball on balancing it.

I recorded a bunch of planetside 2 footage earlier only to realize it was recording in 360p with no audio.

No, it's just really hard/random.

Also, the starting ship (type A at least) just kinda sucks.  The only run I beat it was with the Torus.

Game doesn't look worth it for $30.  Maybe $10-20, but Torchlight 2 at $20 makes me really rethink a lot of game prices now these days.

I still think of £40 as being the base price for a game.  Not sure if I'm keen on the massive devaluation that's been happening for the last couple of years.

Also, could someone tell me which of the new generation of mech games is looking best?
