Leading mounts

So this has bothered me for a while. I understand that maybe trying to move with two mounts is difficult by leading them with their reigns.
Being unable to just hold the reigns without moving irks me.
I think that anyone should be able to lead at least two animals without moving.

Perhaps trying to lead them in a direction would maybe cause one to not move or something....

Anyone think of a reason why you shouldn't be able to hold two sets of reigns?

Because the animals are domesticated, but still technically wild animals, and usually only breeds, and rangers, have the Animal Companion or Nature's Empathy perks?

It wouldn't be much of a problem most of the time, though those rare moments when you discover TWO dead riders and their mounts with lots o'loot...

Used to be able to.

But It caused problems and was removed.

The hitching things to other things.

The problem is when resting two mounts while one of the riders is off doing something our side the region the mounts are in. Having to mount it doesn't make sense, but holding the reins to both so they don't go wandering off while your standing next to them makes sense to me.

Odd urge, to train my mounts to mount other mounts so while resting I can lead one mount but safe guard two.

Was a year ago when I rescued a 100+ days played Salarr Agent, who was reel-locked and near death, after he failed to tame an inix that went wild in the Salarr compound. Don't tempt or tease an inix. They can hurt if you're not careful.

I don't see why anyone shouldn't be able to lead two mounts and walk with them (or four if you're a mantis).  Just change the code (easier said than done) to check for proper riding skill vs. number of mounts lead while trying to mount an animal rather than when hitching then, and set the max number of mounts hitchable at 2. 

Otherwise, ride skill too low?  Unhitch one and ride it; lead the other.
