I got to swim for like... 15 minutes. Then a storm rolled in. I reshaved my legs all sleek for nuttin', nearly. But it was pretty neat to sport my preggo belly while going for a dip and just not give a fuuuuck. (And besides, my belly is probably normal for some women. Heh.)

I just made vegetarian stuffed peppers and they went over pretty well! This makes me happy. It makes me happy to make things/do things for others that makes them happy and healthy.

Man, my driver in Iraq was Mormon.  He had a really bad habit of running away from the damn truck toward firefights, leaving me hanging there by myself, trying to work the comm and the machine gun at the same time...which is a bitch when you're on the XO's truck and everyone wants to talk to him all the time, but he's got some kind of John Wayne complex and also has a habit of abandoning the vehicle.  But back to the driver...yeah, he was a really nice guy when nobody in the vicinity was shooting at anybody.

So me and my wife started watching Deadwood again, my seven year old son walks through the room on the intro song and goes 'Oh, awesome.. Firefly!?' (the intro song sounds very similar to Firefly in some regards) and he was bummed to find out it wasn't Firefly which he soon after claimed is 'the most awesome show we ever watched'.

Yes, my child is shaping up to be quite the badass.

I'm trying to listen to the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack over and over and over again, hoping my kid is inclined to play the violin when it pops out of the womb. I hope this happens. It would make me the happiest person ever.
