I noticed there isn't a praise command, like there are typo and bug commands.    

Is emailing the mud account to praise a certain area, for example, obnoxious?   Or is there another avenue to do so that I'm overlooking?

The Imms rock. Espicially Sanvean. But, Flurry... If we let them know that, they'll get all full of themselves, and start demanding that we pay for Armageddon... *Gasp!* No, no, no... We can't have that! We need to carefully monitor the Imms' self confidence... I think I'll go start a classic 'The Imms are Gonna Eat My Brainzzz' thread...

Anyways, my suggestion is that if you want to stick in some praise, I'd email the mud, but attach your praise to something more (forgive my word choice) useful. Like an item submission, or a list of bugs and typos, etc. Or even a special application (nice way to suck up!). *Shrug* Just an idea.

Well the reason I asked is that I had one of my best times ever playing armageddon last night and today, and I think there was some immortal interaction at one point, but I have no one to thank or tell how much fun I had and how thankful I am

No doubt your praise is for me  (*grin*).  The best way to let me know would be to e-mail the mud, as FiveDisgruntledMonkeysWit suggests.  As a newbie Imm, I can tell you, little feels better than having a player tell you something you crafted for them (be it an RPT, or an item, or a room, or a few room echoes to liven up their solo-RP) was enjoyable.  Positive feedback here is always nice, too, but it goes more noticed the other way.

You know...as far as I know theres no fekkin way to tell what imm is interacting with you or doing -whatever you choose to do.

but several times through my excessive play whoever it was *looks curiously at Xygax* it's been great.

But to be serious here for a second, Imm's are good and they do help alot I know this from experience. So yes I think we should write something to the mud about certain Imms that we think did something nice/cool/useful to the mud.

When people send in thansk for RPTs, interactions, or whatever, I forward them on to whoever it was, or the whole staff if I don't know who it was. It's much appreciated when you do, and balances out some of the "you guyz suxor" emails.

anyways, maybe a praise could be nice for them -someone like an ooc to imms. so you dont wish all, and can still praise the certain imm without spamming everyone else

I find that wishing up or, more often, sending a mail to the account gets my point across nicely.

I often have no idea who's responsible for tortur-- I mean, for enriching my playing experience, so the mud account works good IMHO. Wishing up might not always ensure they got your thankyou.

I don't want a praise command. I came from two other muds who had it and it always seemed like sucking up to me. I was very impressed when this mud didn't have it Plus mailing the mud account works.
