Recruiting Builders for Armageddon version 2

Started by Adhira, August 29, 2009, 03:04:23 PM

We will be taking applications for Builders for Armageddon 2.

Builders are considered part of the Armageddon Staff.  While we endeavour to keep Builders seperate from the existing game there will inevitably be some information that is available that might reveal current game secrets. Please be aware that there may be some 'spoilers'.

Builders will be working under the direction of project leaders. They will be expected to work on existing proposals, while there is room for creativity this is not a recruitment for those that are wishing to design there own races/settlements/game systems and so on. We have the base structure, we're looking for assistance in bringing the vision to life.

Builders should have/be:

- An enthusiastic and optimistic approach to the game and the building process.
- The ability to keep interested and self-motivated, especially when tackling the more difficult sections of projects.
- The ability to complete multiple projects while keeping true to the larger vision.
- The understanding that building a 'work'. While we want the job to be enjoyable there are expectations placed on builders.
- Patience with fellow builders and staff.
- The ability to compromise and tailor projects/work to meet the standards and vision of the group.
- The willingness to receive and ability to take constructive criticism.
- Communicative. Builders need to keep other staff informed of issues, absences etc.

If you have managed to read through this post and are considering the prospect of building with excitement then we'd love to hear from you. Please send an email to producers@armageddon.org and provide the following information:

Reminder - recruitment ends today. We've had a bunch of great applications so far.
