Staffing Round

Started by Adhira, June 12, 2009, 11:47:18 AM

We are doing a Staffing Round for Storytellers for the current game. For those interested in Armageddon 2 we will be recruiting builders after the Storyteller process is done.

Applications should be sent to producers@armageddon.org with the subject: Staff Application. The deadline for applications is Sunday, June 21.

Please remember to include your account name and gdb handles with all apps.

1. Why do you want to be on staff? What do you expect to find enjoyable about it, and what parts do you think will be unenjoyable?

2. How much time do you think you will be contributing in a normal week? Do you have time constraints that will affect when you are online, or any life-changing events that will remove your ability to log on?

3. What do you think you will bring to the game? What areas of expertise, both in-game and out, do you have? What would you like to work on?

4. What are your expectations for being a staff member? How do you think being on staff would affect the way you play as well as the way you interact with players?

5. What three things would you change about the game?

6. How would you describe yourself in online interactions?

7. Do you work well with other people? How thick-skinned are you? Can you take feedback without feeling defensive? What teams have you worked with previously, and what was your experience like?

8. What's your mud experience like? What other games have you played? Have you worked as a staff member on any game before?

9. What do you think is/are the most important thing(s) you've brought to game right now?

10. What's your favorite feature of the game, and why?

11. If you are hired you will be asked to store your current character, how do you feel about that?

One change to this - instead of email please submit all application through the request tool. You will find the correct request line under: Game Related > Staff Applications.
