Greetings, All.

Update for all players regarding the Human Tribals.

Benjari - This tribe has been all but decimated, used as meat-shields in the gith wars. It is still fine to use in your background, but all players who wish to come from a Benjari background will need to use the nomad:subguild and will be playing the last wandering remnants of a shattered, dying people.  You will not need any IMM support to get started with these.  They just go through the regular app. process.  There is no coded Benjari camp, there are no coded Benjari elders or NPCs, and you'll be pretty much be on your own, except that the Tribal Groups staff get to pick on you for amusement.  Documentation is available: http://www.armageddon.org/ic/benjari.html

Tan Muark - These are all sponsored roles, and have high standards for acceptance.  There are only openings for consideration when there is an open posting by Muark staff on the GDB.   You cannot apply for Tan Muark through the regular application process.  A member of the Tribal staff must be sponsoring your role.  Documentation is restricted until after approval.

Al'Seik, Arabet, and Jul Taven - These are limited for balance, but are otherwise open roles.  We just try to make sure that we don't have too many of one, not enough of the other.  In you are interested, send an email to tribal_humans@armageddon.org and talk to the staff.  These roles need to be okay'd by staff before they can go through the regular application process.
Documentation is available: http://www.armageddon.org/ic/tribal.php

Except for the few poor, surly gruff Benarji still trudging around, these types of roles are centered around interplay with your tribemates, and are great for deep interpersonal RP.  They can at times be isolated, but they are generally thoroughly awesome.

<immcom> Petoch for your thoughts?

The above is still true.  And, I will add, now is a wicked-fine time to consider taking to the sands.  Yes.

As of right now the Benjari are a Dead Clan and no longer will be playable.  They had a long run, survived for a long time, but it's time to put them to rest.  Current PCs that have a Benjari background, you are the last of your kind.  There will be no further support for Benjari.  The few remaining are scattered and spread, integrating with other civilizations or tribes just to survive.  Stories will be told, legends will remain as they fade away into the history of Zalanthas.

Also the Jul Tavan are closed to play, but are still virtual.  This is not a permanent action, just taking place at this moment for reasons behind the scenes.  They are very much still alive.

Ourla:  You're like the oil paint on the canvas of evil.
