Goat porn is not prohibited in the Highlord's city.

It's pretty active.

But for actual numbers, I hate saying this.

Find out IC.

;)

It is fun times.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

5?

Or 15 hidden.

You win Armageddon, congratulations!  Type 'credits', then store your character and make a new one

Not the dreaded FIND OUT IC!!! Oh well.. Hope to find someone interested in robbing and or killing me soon.

Oh you shouldn't have to worry about that, I thought even NPCs offered that service in the Rinth.

Oh my god he's still rocking the sandwich.

This is an interesting find out ic moment because it is actually impossible to find out ic.  You might say, what do you mean? Well, find out in character?  How does your character find out an out of character tid bit like how many players are in a region, when player is the ooc difference between a pc/npc/vnpc.

Though I agree, find out in game.

The same way you find out if about the other cities? Hang out in the tavern long enough. If you spend 3-4 rl days, sitting in a tavern and do not get into some kind of trouble, odds are the rinth is low populated. But if you do ...

I er.. didn't literally mean how do you do it.

Sorry :)

Only thing that matters isnt it? Vnpcs, Npcs, are all fun. But if there 'is' indeed a low pc population, and you'll do something like create a character confined to the rinth, you might be in for the storage lane if the rinth is empty. Thankfully, there is no such a problem right now.

My point was that find out ic is not exactly appropriate in this case because you can as the player find out the answer ic, but it isn't actually something your character can seek to find out.  For instance if I asked what is the max weight I can steal you can say find out ic, and my pc can actually go huh, I wonder how heavy an object I can lift and go try.  Where as find out how many active pcs there are in a region, you can find out while ic, but you can't find out or even really icly seek to find out the answer to the question.

I'm being silly.

If everyone did this the only players would be in the Sanctuary and the Gaj.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Well, my character is a 'rinthi. But you won't see him in the tavern. For various reasons ;) ;)

BTW, there's that RPT in the 'rinth. From that, I guess you could assume there's at least 5 players. The Labyrinth isn't too big anyway, so you're bound to bump into someone, just by walking around.

Clans can give stat bonuses and penalties, too. The Byn drop in wisdom is particularly notorious.

I'm pretty sure you can figure out ICly how many people are in the 'rinth -pretty- quick. If you play there for a few RL weeks, you get a rough estimate.
