A thought occured to me today when I was about to log out, if I should drop an OOC warning of such, on the off chance that somebody was shadowing me. I've read stories about how people get locked in places because of spam walkers, though I usually have to pause at the door anyways.

Anyways, considering the out of character nature of quitting out, how would staff feel if players gave such a warning?

Edit: Alright. Thank you :)

OLs are like HLs on steroids. They make the Really Big Decisions that affect the course of the entire game.

I don't see this as necessary, really. If you quit out and someone does happen to be shadowing you, they can always wish up to staff. In general, OOC is best used only when there is an identifiable, pressing need, not casually. This isn't something I'd look down on, but again, I don't think it's needed either.

That's a risk anyone takes when following someone into a place like that.
