freshly ground coffee brewed in a french press

this.

also, having a cat curled up by your feet and a dog by your side while you're reading a book in bed.

(Here it comes, I have one of those "sides")

I like the way my pets are always happy to see me, no matter what. When I get home, when I call them over to pet them, I dont even have to do anything, and the little fuckers are just happy to see me. They literally get beside themselves with joy, if I show them the slightest bit of attention. Its like having a little person that will never betray you, and that will always love you...They just make me feel good about myself.

Now, to throw out something a bit more "me"...

Making my wife eat a load, when I tell her I'm not going to cum in her mouth this time....(She always falls for this)....and it is always just as funny as it was the first time. Its protein, its good for her.
My phone now autocorrects "damn" to Dman.
The young daughter has been filled.

James, that protein comment is so gross.

And beside I only pretend to act surprised you jerk.  Also, I don't think anyone wants to hear about that.

It involves me and I don't even want to hear about it.

Well, there always was a reputation for stealth...
I seduced the daughters of men
And made the death of them.
I demanded human sacrifices
From the rest of them.
I became the spirit that haunted
And protected them.
And I lived in the tower of flame
But death collected them.

Wow. Totally not what I was expecting to see in this thread. I was all like.. peppermint patties, the smell of just-fried bacon on Sunday morning, watching a full moon rise in mid-summer, finding a couple of dollars in my pockets when I go to do the laundry, that kind of thing.

I am now ruined for life.

Along those lines... this isn't exactly ordinary for me, but if I was inclined to get up so early every day it could be:

Walking across my alma mater's campus at dawn. The way the sun hits the trees, grass, and sculptures, along with the sheen of morning dew across everything makes it otherworldly beautiful.

Then again, I was usually on an all-nighter when experiencing this, so maybe a healthy dose of sleep deprivation was contributing. ;)

Waking up too early in  the morning is always beautiful long as your body can tolerate it.

Long, sleepless nights are also priceless as long as the reason you are staying up late is not something depressing.

I love the laughter of my SO when I'm caught pronouncing things that a character or NPC is saying so I can get the feel and expression correct in text.

I never realized before until I played Armageddon with other people in the same room... but I do the same thing.  Not always, but sometimes, I say the things I'm typing for my character to say out loud.  Does that make me psychotic... especially if I never realized this on my own?
Tryin' to make friends but people are jerks,
So I'm gonna put some fleas on you.
And the fleas'll have the plague,
And they'll make you cough a lot,
Then you'll be too sick to hurt my feelings anymore.

I don't know if -that- makes you psychotic... But you are.

Also, I appreciate psychosis, because crazy people are more funner.

Nothing makes Armageddon more satisfying for me than inspiring psychosis.

Pulling out a copy of Dungeon Keeper Gold and sitting down for two days straight and playing through every level again realizing that I don't remember.  But I do after I do each piece.

Kisses and hugs from my kids.  Nothing makes me feel better than my -almost- two year old daughter wrapping her arms around me and giving me a hug.  Or my three year old son hugging me and saying 'I wuv you dada.'

Sitting down to nice and quiet on the the two days a month my ex has my kids and relaxing, watching a movie I want to watch and having a glass of wine.

Smoking a cigarette after sex.  (This I will miss the most when I quit Belgoikiss...seriously...this will be the hardest for me probably)

Having sex in a place where you might get caught.  Like while driving down the interstate.  That was fun.  And we did get caught.

Standing in the rain for no good reason, other than the quiet and peace because no one else will come bother you while your in the rain.

Getting a new car.

Boobs.  I <3 Boobs.

Flirting with someone to the point of arousal on both parties even though both of you know you won't be having sex, ever.  It just makes both people feel good.

Driving the speed of 'OMG'.
At your table, the badass dun-clad female says in tribal-accented sirihish, putting on a piping voice, incongruous not the least because it doesn't get rid of her rasp:
"'Oh, I killed me a forest cat!' That's nice; I wiped me bum after taking a shit.

I see them on skinny kids, and extremely ripped people... Let me go check the mirror real fast... Nah, I don't got them, but jesus women, is having a six pack not enough? Flat abs?

Women are almost as picky as me.

Damn right, sistah, damn right.

I appreciate younger siblings who have just gotten their driver's licenses and all the errands you can get them to do for you because they're still having fun driving around all day long.
