So she can run away again and not respond to PMs? Yeaaah. I'll stick to our gals if the need ever arises.

Eh?

tinykittenhorde. Read a handful of pages back - people tried to get in contact with her to no avail. She's usually hired out by other MUDs and stuff to do artwork and I don't think she plays much here, if at all. -- Anyway, mostly, I was just saying that if you plan on getting something done by her, might wanna PM her fast since she doesn't look at the boards again for some time.

I do play here :) However, my flaw is that I generally do not check the board posts after they are made (which is now rectified!!!  :o :o ) and only await Pm's or emails :O Boog - I have not recieved any requests in such a form at all. (once again, no fault of anyones but my own for not thinking to check the actual board!)

My schedule is entirely clear, so feel free to request in any way you desire  :) I will continue to check this thread as well to make sure that this time i'm caught up on that side of it too ...  once again, my apologies for that lack of common sense on my part. :-X

Is it bad that I can point out both of those characters perfectly? Anyhow, awesome job for two awesome characters.

To be fair, TinyKittenHorde (who has an adorable screen name) did provide an email address to use for requests.  I totally wouldn't count her out for portrait requests.

Before Biscuits made it to the big time, I had an order with her to do a Gage Gritshaw portrait including all of the people that might be considered his "buddies". (I was going to get them to send me their descs and how they wanted to appear and everything.) Whole tavern drinking scene, already plotted out.

I wish she would have waited just one more month to go off and become famous.   :-[

Damn her success.

Do we have any other good artists still doing this?

By "buddies" do you mean his hand and a certain collection of drawings?   ;)

lol No, not exactly. Though I should figure out a way to incorperate those somewhere.

Paint on a mustache and be a dude for a day. Stuff some melons down my shirt, cinch up a corset and pass as a girl.

With appropriate roleplay of course.

I can then frame Nyr's masterpieces for a very low price.

My last character + frame.

Still doing these.  Any monetary donations can be made to Armageddon. I don't charge for Arm-art.

Brilliant work on your blog, Ourla! Would love to have you do my character, but I suspect s/he would die in a day if I actually forked over the $$ to have the portrait done!  Perhaps I'm too suspicious. I dunno.

Especially love the organic-shape experiment you did as well the bird acrylic.

I got my portrait from Ourla in the mail yesterday. It's super awesome. Vibrant colors and great detail. :)
And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

I always worry that my mdescs and emotes are not complex enough to warrant a character portrait truly being what I had imagined in my head.

You can always add detail when you describe it to the artist.

This is none arm Chat..Looking for -constructive- feed back before I push the background...too much or too little shadow on the pair? Im getting paid for this  :P trying to earn my keep ;)
