Just curious, not sure exactly how it works watering a plant, if our water ground or pour water plant. Or what it does exactly if do either to the plant.

Hal already answered your question:

If you see a plant, you can try watering it with "pour waterskin plant" (or whatever keywords are appropriate). If that doesn't work, you can "pour waterskin ground".

If you do run across plant objects that don't appear to be waterable, idea the object: idea plant This plant could be waterable.
