Question

I noticed when I see the ldesc of characters (you know, perhaps by glancing into a room or walking into a tavern) I'll get a message like this:

the sturdy dwarf is here
-- he is carrying a used bicycle

Or something to that effect.

Is that because I have peek (and it somehow has advanced though i haven't practiced it) or is this a code change?

the other day i saw a kank and could see what it had packed on it without mounting it - which is very cool.

Thanks!

Recent addition. I think it's showing you what's in their inventory.

If you're carrying around a gaudy and massive, dragon-carved throne, someone is going to notice. I like this so we won't see people carrying around the odd bowl of Byn stew or mug of ale for two RL weeks.

We were somewhere near the Shield Wall, on the edge of the Red Desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I think it's implemented for everyone, regardless of peek...  because people were tired of not seeing people smuggling couches around and sitting in the tavern with them.

It was a change.

Noted here.

Thanks guys. I haven't played much in the past few months, so (as you know) so many things changed, thought I missed a change to peek.
