More descriptive past character database

Ok, I'm sure there are others out there that like to be able to go back and look at some detail on an old character for some reason or another. On other Muds they have a database of all your past characters details  such as their play time, how long IG they were around, the descs and the skills they had by the time of their death. I always felt it was very hand and useful to be able to have access to that as a resource. Not sure which would be easier but another possibility would be that when a character dies you could get an email with all of those details, and maybe even the IG posts and coded writings he dead before his/her demise, obviously this would most likely be toggle-able. Anyways any thoughts?

I would like to be able to access a past character's biography.

Either that, or have all the bio entries emailed upon death.

Yeah, I'd love to take a look at my past character's background and descriptions.
Even if just to make sure that not every character I've ever played has had "callused" hands.

I have a folder in my computer called armmud, every time i make a character i take the time to write out a background and description of my character on MS word, i then save the final version i send into this folder, i have the backgrounds and descriptions of ever toon i've ever made there :D

I'd really love to be able to view biographies of my dead characters.
Anything else would be secondary but nifty.

I could really use being able to see my past characters' descriptions.
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

Yes. All of this. Many are the times I've longed for just such a situation. I know I get stuck in sentence structure ruts and preferences with my descriptions especially.

Well it doesn't seem like there are any reasons to not have this, is there any reason why it hasn't been done before now?

I'd imagine difficulties in coding, and the fact that there are simply other things higher on the priority list.
I'd just idea this in game, if you haven't already. I'm sure Morgenes will get around to it eventually, heh. That guy's a friggin' machine.

This is something we've discussed, and we're in the process of changing some stuff over to a system that will make things like this easier.  It will happen, probably within the next six months, at least that's my hope.  As you know, new code is going in lat a pretty fast clip ately, heh.
