"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

Question:  Since nobody can play for 1-7 days, should we stop voting?  I imagine it would be better to fall out of the top 20, since any potential newbies will be confused and annoyed if they try to play and can't get through.

I'm gonna go all Gimfalisette on you guys and lay down some numbers.

Does the recent absence of votes mean that we've lost almost all of our players, or that our players don't think the game is worth voting for anymore?

I don't know which is worse.

I think it just means we're being lazy about voting.

I vote twice a day, which is why the imms have bumped me to 8 karma. Seriously. I highly recommend twinking the "vote" skill for this reason.

I vote 2/3 times a day and it really does nothing for my 'leet' karma, I even vote on that RPTMUD website, heh.

The numbers are climbing, keep up the voting.

From tonight:

Arm definitely takes the high road by not offering in-game rewards for voting, but I sure do forget a lot!

It's sexy. Number 2! But it has just reset, it won't stay that way for very long. We do suck at voting. :p

I don't always act superior... but when I do it's on the forums of a text-based game

A couple more votes and we could be first (for a few minutes).  :)

I voted only because Maso is in this thread.

And at the same time I brought you to #1.

Edited to add:  Doh!  Curse you Malken!   I saw yours just as I hit enter, after having struggled with my non-133t computr skilz.

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

I voted just now. Never voted for a MUD before either.

You people have dorkified me.  :lol:
