March or april is good, I voted madison myself, I've been to milwakee and am not a real fan.

And, like I said, timing looks good, I'll have vacation time, plenty of cash and The only hard thing to decide will be if I should fly or take the RV:)

And that might be decided by how many people are between phoenix and madison:)

I call foul play! Someone is cheating, unless 18 people are planning to come to this incredibly awesome meeting of super-fly folk wearing super-fly supersuits and drinking like hobos from the bottle. Err.. that'll be *cough* just me.

I'll be there, wherever ya'll decide to have it.  If we end up in Madison, I too may have some crash space available.

And.. I say we have it in April. Not only is it later (giving people more time to save $$), but Madison is much more spring-like in April than in March...

I blame the person who made the poll.  There should have been a third option like "I'm not comming, but I want to see the poll result so I'm going to vote anyway."  Sure, you can click the "see results" button (that's what I did) but some people will vote.

Hrm.. This one is tempting. Flights are pretty cheap too. Maybe, since I can't see you guys next year at the con, I'll see about this one.

Maybe, I need to see what school is going to look like next semester.

Alright, Alright, I voted and didn't post!
:-D

I would go - but I don't know ANYONE.  :-D

If someone will guide my walker to the beer keg, I might consider it.

Well, from what I've gathered, a lotta the people showing interest have never been to a gathering. And the thing about gatherings, after the first few bottles of bourbon, everyone's good friends.

So come one, come all.

Alright, this whole poll thing.. not working.

So let's try this...

If you're interested in Wisconsin in prolly.. early April, drop me a PM. Still 6 months away, but It'd be nice to have everything settled within the next month, so hotel and travel accomidations can be made. We'll work out the details from there.

Alright, so...

18 people voted

And so far, one person has PMed me saying that they're interested in coming.

So... If you're interested in attending, April 2006, please PM me soon, so we can start to get things in the work and poke around for a group-discount hotel and what not.

I'm coming if it is in Milwaukee, I don't have a car to drive to Madison, but I go to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (go Panthers) so if it is in Milwaukee I am in.
ar is not about who is right, but who is left.

Mansa, Tamarin and myself will likely come down if we can be programmed in the proper manner to complete said tasks without any critical errors.

Yay. :)  Are you going to fly or drive (that's one heck of a long drive -- I've done it)?

I vote for Milwaukee, but Madison is doable. Count me in either way

If it's in Madison, I'm up for it.  If anyone needs a ride from Chicago burbs or places like that (I'm in Batavia, now), I've got a tiny little SUV that'll hold several.

Yeah I kinda wish I could remove my vote from this poll, in order to place it towards Minneapolis.
Yes. Read the thread if you want, or skip to page 7 and be dismissive.

Yeah, I only voted for Madison because it's closer...even though the means I have to get there is about the same as Milwaukee...nonexistant.  I'd have voted Minneapolis if it was an option too.

Kinda too late to change it now, since some people have hotel reservations and flights booked.

This is not the Offical APM of 2006.  This is a smaller gathering near J0ram's house and near Buzz the Punman's house.

The Offical APM of 2006 is in this thread:

There are TWO threads about APMs.  Where to have a big one, and plans that were started some months ago for a smaller(?) local one in WI.  This isn't the thread with the vote for the big APM, just in case people are getting them mixed up.
