Who do you think will win the World Series?

I don't usually follow baseball, but a friend of mine got me hooked on Red Sox.  They're such an underdog that I can't help but cheer for them.  We'll see if they make it after tonight.

I, too, am shooting for the Red Sox, if for no other reason than I think it would be awesome if they won, comming back from so behind, and winning a game after...what, 80-90 years? A long time, at any rate.

The Red Sox have to be a sentimental favorite, particularly after this gargantuan series comeback (currently leading Game 7 8-1 in the 4th inning) against none other than the Yankees.

At the start of the postseason, my Braves aside, St. Louis I thought had the best all around team and any bets would have had to go on them (with some token money on the Sox).  But the Astro bats have been sizzling, and we'll see what comes of THEIR Game 7.

Right now, I have to get behind the Red Sox -- sure, sentimental favorites, but also they've gone from both stone cold AND unlucky to hot AND lucky, at precisely the best time possible.  I think they'll win tonight and be firing on all cylinders as the World Series commences.

The Sox.  No doubt about it.

World Series?  That's some sort of sports event, isn't it?

Yeah, I think it's the grand playoff sort of game for golf.  Where both quarterbacks put on gloves and fight on ice.
