It's long time that House Voryek showed a sign of life. Here's a proposal: let them buy master-level drawings for small sums. There would be a separate buyer in their stall for this. Limit her to buying only a few a day. After a little time, the drawings could appear for sale in the merchant's inventory, in beautiful wooden frames.
Can't this be done via custom crafting..since the item would need to become permanent.
Or is it a codedly way to generate new items?
I mean, the custom part of the work is already done just in creating the drawing, and custom crafting isn't required for that. This would just be the additional step of framing it.
It would require some coding to automate it. The text for the drawing is already stored. The framed object would (1) need to point to that text, and (2) display it when simply looked at instead of requiring that a page be specified.
That sounds cool.
Being able to frame your drawings for a small-ish fee would also be nice...
Whether they buy them off you or not.
"ask <merchant> frame <drawing>" to pay a 100 sid fee to get a small wooden frame around the drawing
